Dear Craig County Baptist Church :
I met with the Deacons and our Church family yesterday evening in regard to the Corona Virus and here is the conclusion of that meeting . Two wanted to not make any changes to the schedule , 5 wanted to continue to meet but reduce it to one service on Sunday, the majority expressed a desire for me as Pastor to make the decision. Choosing to be cautious and prudent here is my decision . Beginning this Sunday at 10:45 we will stream our Sunday Morning service on the Churches Facebook account. Those who feel that arrangement does not fit their circumstances and desire to attend and be part of the Service at in the auditorium will be welcome. We will take some extra precautions for that assembly in regards to hand shaking , social distance etc. We will discontinue the meal and the 1:00 service. I will also plan on Streaming the Wednesday night service under the same conditions . Those who desire to attend that service may with the same extra precautions in place. I realize this response to the present condition in our country may seem extreme and unwarranted , and it may be , but please know that I made this decision for the well being of the weakest and most vulnerable among us and our community as a whole and with a desire to expedite the process of returning to normal .
